Power panels are installed to distribute the 415/380/240/110V 50HZ 3PH, supply from a single source to various equipments/systems. They also incorporate protective device like MCCBs, MCBs in order to protect in case of overload and/or isolate the system for maintenance.
The Power panels are fabricated from 2mm thick (14swg) mild steel sheets meeting specification requirement. The panel is drip proof construction against water spray up to angle 60 degree from the vertical. Enclosure protection is IP-55.The front panel construction is hinged type and provided with door lock. The panels are bulkhead-mounting type. Internal rubber shock absorbers are used between plate containing MCCB / MCB and power panel body. The dimensions of the panels are kept as small as possible without impairing technical requirement. All doors are provided with neoprene rubber gasket all round. Power panels withstand shock standard NSS-Grade ‘A’ and vibration requirements 5-33Hz conforming to spec.JSS-55555. Adequate space is provided inside the power panels for bunching, bending and termination of incoming and outgoing cables. All dimensions are in mm. All Nuts and Bolts are as per metric size and cadmium plated. Power panels conform to SOR 17/3320-1/SOR/R1 and the approved drawing.

The Fuse Panels are designed to distribute the Power Supply and provide protection to various Systems. The Mechanical constructions of different Fuse Panels are made as per requirement. The panels are suitable for bulkhead mounting type with enclosure protection IP-44. The panels are fabricated from 16 SWG sheet steel
Navigation Light Control panel is used to control and monitor status of navigation Bulbs. Switches provided on front panel of the main panel controls the operation of Bulbs. LED indicators provided on the front panel indicates the status of Bulbs. Buzzer is used for audible alarm. Display units are used to indicate status of Bulbs at remote place ( Ops Room & Bridge )
The Transformer Panels are manufactured meeting specification requirement, are deck mounting type and drip proof. Each Transformer Panel is provided with 2 Nos. lifting eye bolt. The Panel is fabricated from 14 SWG M.S. sheet steel. Transformer Panel is of IP-44 enclosure with louvers. Each Transformer Panel is provided with anti vibration mounts to withstand the vibration shocks
The Call Bell System is designed to indicate the need to attend or to communicate between important sections of the ship for smooth functioning of the vessel. The communication can be established TO & FRO by audio visual indications. The important sections where communications need to be established are Wheel House, Machinery Control Room, Main Engine Room and Auxiliary Engine Room.
The Mechanical construction of different modules is made as per requirement. The panels in MER and MCR are of bulkhead mounting type with enclosure protection IP-44.
Panels in MCR and Wheel House are Drop in Panel console mounting type. The panels are fabricated from 14 SWG Aluminum alloy. The top plate of Wheel House panel is of 16 SWG Stainless steel.
The Galley Call Bell System is designed to indicate the need to attend or to communicate between important sections of the ship for smooth functioning of the vessel. The communication can be established TO & FRO by audio visual indications.

The Shore Connection Box is manufactured meeting specification requirement and is of bulkhead mounting type totally enclosed with enclosure protection IP-56. The Panel is fabricated from 12 SWG sheet steel with glass cover transparent window.
The Equipment is To Boost And Float Charge The Batteries And to supply 24V DC Load.It does the dual function as rectifies AC input to DC and Float or trical charging the Battery.Float charger keeps charging the battery continuously and as main fails Battery starts charging in Boost mode as supplies Uninterrupted DC power to the load with tap changing from 24V to 26.76V DC.
The Auto Change Over Switches are intended to provide the alternate supply to an essential equipment in the event of the failure of normal supply within a specified period of time. Besides automatic change over capability, the ACOS also have provision for manual & emergency hand operation without involving electromagnets of the contactors for selection of normal & alternate supply mechanically by lever operation. Each ACOS has its own Remote Control Unit to select the mode of operation viz. normal-off-alternate and to give the visual indication of status of mode of operation, normal supply & alternate supply.
